IDC Monthly Knitting Night – Shamrocks & Stitches

Visit the Irish Design Center on Thursday, March 26 from 6 – 8 pm for a class on the Art of Knitting!

Location: 303 S Craig St., Pittsburgh, PA

The Irish Design Center is an ADA accessible space.

Classes are taught By Julia LePoer, CMU Design graduate and fiber artist. Space is limited to 15 people and sign ups are first come first served. 

Classes include a beginner knitting lesson, Irish snacks, a culture corner with guest speakers, and discounts on shop merchandise. 

First Time Student: $45 (includes Knitting Starter Kit)

Returning student: $25 (For students with their own materials)

About Julia:

Julia is a graduate from Carnegie Mellon University. Her professional work implements the healing power of art and community with design thinking. For over thirteen years she has explored the world of craft and art, acquiring numerous maker skills. From sewing to weaving, paintings to woodworking, Julia loves to experiment with new materials and techniques. Her love of knitting emerged from an appreciation of intentional, sustainable fashion. After honing her skills, Julia is excited to share the hobby with her community. Please join Julia for a night of craft, community, and culture at the Irish Design Center.
